STUDENT SHOWCASE: Jaron Cannon
Pianist
Jaron began piano lessons at age five. He has received numerous awards including three gold medals at MusicFest NW, 1st place in the MusicFest piano solo concerto competition, and twice received a gold medal at the Oregon Junior Bach Festival. He completed OMTA (Oregon Music Teachers Association) Syllabus as a sophomore. He has had five compositions published by the OMTA and is a member of The Cascadia Composers Society. Jaron is heavily involved with his church as the pianist, accompanist, and offertory soloist.
